why Use Instruction ?

Former BTTC racer and European Karting champion John Chambers has 15 years of racing and many more years instructing people how to hone their driving techniques and to get the very best from their cars. As a trained mechanical engineer he really understands the ways cars work and what is needed to bring the best from the driver / car combination.

A days instructing from John will actually save money, why?

You will find your car going much quicker without any more horsepower, or mods of any kind.

As we like to say the biggest improvement comes from modifying the 'nut ' behind the wheel.

Every day is slightly different depending upon your level but some of the things we will cover are:

THE BASICS

Car preparation, Cornering lines, Braking Techniques, Looking Ahead, Steering, Track Etiquette.

THE ADVANCED

Weight transfer and how it affects the handling, Use of power to change line, Trail Braking, Heel and toeing for smooth downshifts, circuit markers.

EXPERT

Race Craft, Mind Games, Car set up.

The day will involve me working alongside you the whole day. We will practise and drill certain techniques into you. These will stay with you after you leave the track day and will enable you to carry on improving whenever you drive. We typically meet at 7.45am and finish at 5.30pm.

At the end of the day you WILL be faster, smoother, safer and hopefully at one with your car.
